Feng Shui Design International founded in 1993, is a design and consulting firm working internationally to create more productivity, profitability and efficiency in the workplace, beauty and serenity in homes, and a vibrancy, beauty and regenerative sustainability for Intentional Communities of all sizes. 


FSDI’s accumulated knowledge and experience with numerous techniques or schools of feng shui, non-toxic building materials and specifications, sacred geometry design, energy efficiency and regenerative design has created a beautiful portfolio of projects globally. 


The overall driving philosophy is that of merging a building with its environment as naturally as possible, including the interior design as part of the overall design concept, all in an eco-friendly way whenever possible. Combining all of the above with the client’s program has created healthy, energy efficient, inspiring and successful projects.  


FSDI’s founder & CEO, Gary Hendrickson has over 42 years of study and practice with Feng Shui, architecture, interior design and community design as his professional background. He has developed an integral approach to feng shui, drawing from 12 different techniques of feng shui.

Gary Hendrickson is a nationally known expert feng shui consultant, author, lecturer, instructor, Real Estate Development designer, and a residential and commercial architectural designer, and founder and CEO of Regenesis International, Inc., dba Feng Shui Design International. 

Having studied with international masters and teachers of many schools and techniques, he now has 47 years of study & practice. He designs community developments, homes, offices, healing retreat centers, and industrial complexes. He lectures, teaches and consults throughout the United States and overseas to developers, city planning departments, architects, interior designers, design institutions, corporations, individuals, and homeowners. 

Gary continues to study very advanced techniques from world-renowned feng shui masters, broadening his knowledge and experience base. Having received his architectural education at Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan and Boston Architectural Center in Boston, Massachusetts, Gary began his professional architectural experience in 1979 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been a project manager and designer in varying sized firms across the US, and started his own firm in 1993. 

Projects have included many hospitals, medical clinics, university and high school educational facilities, performing arts theater complexes, food industry manufacturing and shipping facilities, shopping malls, many retail and residential projects, as well as residential community development design. Gary currently interfaces with cutting-edge design and development professionals researching green building techniques, biomimicry, new light emitting building materials, environmentally-friendly non-toxic building materials, the latest in Feng Shui research and implementation, and sacred geometry. His goal is creating inspiring and vibrantly healthy spaces for all aspects of commercial, residential, and healing retreat/resort environments, raising our frequency by living/playing/working in these spaces. 

Specializing in simplifying the integration of multiple techniques of Feng Shui concurrently, he is one of the country’s most innovative practitioners, drawing from many of 12 different schools of feng shui together, which has proven to provide dramatic and quick results for his clients. His popular courses taught around the country in the “Weaving the Web” series also teach his unique multidisciplinary integral approach which is rare in the feng shui world.

  • A development project in Denver, Colorado consisting of 9 Patio homes and one 13 unit condominium building 
  • A commercial development in Santa Fe, New Mexico consisting of an existing restaurant and two additional new retail buildings and 
  • A residential development of 47 custom estate homes on 135 acres in Sebring, Florida 
  • Two custom residential estate developments of 84 acres and one of 87 acres in Gulfport, Mississippi. 
 
Recent completed design consulting projects include: 
 
  • A multi-national corporation adding 500,000 square feet to an existing 1 million square foot facility in Virginia 
  • Nationally-focused Udi’s Bakery 
  • A co-housing community in Colorado 
  • Numerous single family & multi-family homes internationally
  • Corporate and medical offices 
  • Other multinational manufacturing facilities.
