About Gary, Founder of FDSI
Gary Hendrickson is a nationally known expert feng shui consultant author, lecturer, instructor, and a home and office designer, with Feng Shui Design International. Having studied with international masters and teachers of many schools and techniques, he now has over 44 years of study & practice. He designs community developments, homes, offices, lectures, teaches and consults internationally to developers, architects, interior designers, design institutions, corporations, individuals, and homeowners.
Gary continues to study very advanced techniques from world-renowned feng shui masters, broadening his kowledge and experience base. Having received his architectural education at Lawrence Institute of Technology in Southfield, Michigan and Boston Architectural Center in Boston, Massachusetts, Gary began his professional architectural experience in 1979 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been a project manager and designer in varying sized firms across the US, and started his own firm in 1993. Projects have included many hospitals, medical clinics, university and high school educational facilities, performing arts theater complexes, food industry manufacturing and shipping facilities, shopping malls, many retail and residential projects, as well as residential community development design.
Gary currently interfaces with cutting-edge design professionals researching green building techniques, environmentally-friendly non-toxic building materials, and sacred geometry, all with the goal of creating inspiring and healthy spaces for all aspects of commercial and residential environments.

Specializing in simplifying the integration of multiple techniques of feng shui concurrently, he is one of the country’s most innovative practitioners, drawing from 12 different schools of feng shui together, which has proven to provide dramatic and quick results for his clients. His popular courses taught around the country in the “Weaving the Web” series also teach a multidisciplinary integral approach.
