Gary Hendrickson, Assoc. AIA, is a nationally known expert feng
shui consultant author, lecturer, instructor, and a home and office designer,
with Feng Shui Design International. Having studied with international masters
and teachers of many schools and techniques, he now has 28 years of study & practice. He designs
community developments, homes, offices, lectures, teaches and consults throughout the United States and
overseas to developers, architects, interior designers, design institutions, corporations,
individuals, and homeowners.
Gary continues to study very advanced techniques from
world-renowned feng shui masters, broadening his kowledge and experience base. Having
received his architectural education at Lawrence Institute of Technology
in Southfield, Michigan and Boston Architectural Center in Boston, Massachusetts,
Gary began his professional architectural experience in 1979 in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. He has been a project manager and designer in varying sized firms across
the US, and started his own firm in 1994. Projects have included many
hospitals, medical clinics, university and high school educational facilities, performing arts theater
complexes, food industry manufacturing and shipping facilities, shopping
malls, many retail and
residential projects, as well as residential community development design.
Gary currently interfaces with cutting-edge design professionals
researching green building techniques, environmentally-friendly non-toxic building materials,
and sacred geometry, all with the goal of creating inspiring and healthy spaces for all aspects
of commercial and residential environments.
Specializing in simplifying the integration of multiple techniques
of feng shui concurrently, he is one of the country's most innovative
practitioners, utilizing many of the 12 different schools of feng shui
together, which has proven to provide dramatic and quick results for his
clients. His popular courses taught around the country in the "Weaving the
Web" series also teach a multidisciplinary approach. Look for his new book, Feng Shui Full
Circle to be released in early 2005.
Current feng shui design development consulting projects under construction
that Gary is involved with include a development project in Denver, Colorado consisting of 9 Patio homes
and one 13 unit condominium building, a commercial development in Santa Fe, New Mexico consisting
of an existing restaurant and two additional new retail buildings, and a residential development
of 47 custom estate homes on 135 acres in Sebring, Florida. Recent completed design consulting
projects include a co-housing community in Colorado, numerous single family homes, corporate and
medical offices, and manufacturing facilities, nationally.
Gary is a Founding Council Member for the International Feng Shui Guild,
an Associate AIA member, a member of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, and the American Society of
